• For the time being, it’s a one-off, but who knows? The new collaboration between The Ramondos (Ramones)  and 138-Revamp (The Misfits), The Ramonsters, could go permanent. If it did, there would be no change to 138-Revamp’s lineup, just The Ramondos. The Ramondos will definitely be changing, though, as the unprecedented success of guitarist Joe Sziriski , drummer Josh Barry, and bassist Mike Ator’s other projects, Radio Duran & ‘Letric Eye, has left them little time for a third band.
  • And that takes us neatly into our next news item – Radio Duran will be opening for national act The Fixx this Saturday, September 7th, at Warehouse Live. For those of you keeping count, this is their tenth gig; their ninth was opening for national act The Tubes, also at Warehouse Live, and their fifth was at House of Blues opening for local tribute scene stars Boys Don’t Cry (The Cure.) They are definitely on an upward trajectory, folks!
