Livestream on Twitch

Whether you have your own equipment or not (oftentimes just a mobile phone is needed – see our handy how-to’s above), we have the resources you need to get your show on the road information highway.

R&R Studios – Not only are they a strong supporter of the Houston tribute scene, they do a really cool interview and performance series that is perfect for your band’s introduction to live streaming.

LightStream – Lightstream gets our serious interest when they say live streaming shouldn’t require weeks of research, YouTube videos, setup, and frustration. Their platform aims to make live broadcasts easy enough for the beginner, but with impressive video and audio results to wow the viewer. Currently users can choose to stream to Facebook Live, Twitch, YouTube Live, and Mixer.

SlingStudio – live streaming multi-camera system with a relatively low barrier to entrance.

Music in the time of coronavirus is a difficult proposition since even small gatherings (read: rehearsals) are prohibited. We’ve located a few good virtual performance solutions for your consideration:

JamKazam – JamKazam is an innovative live music platform and social network, enabling musicians to play music together in real time from different locations over the internet as if they are sitting in the same room. The core platform is free to use. (Recommendation: use their metronome feature to keep everyone in time.)
